Billing department NEVER gets preauthorion before receiving denied claims then charged me for their mistakes
They are billing me from 14 months ago because they didn't bill it correctly with my insurance. This happens ALL THE TIME!! this company has a horrible billing department.

I stay on hold for HOURS, no one answers... the website obviously does not have the right information entered on their end, because it says i "entered the wrong information" though it is right in front of me!!!
I'm trying to give them money and they asked to speak to the patient for HIPA reasons... HE'S 5 years old, disabled and NON VERBAL!!! They want me to send a power of attorney before they will speak about a BILL I'M trying to PAY!!! and now theyre threatening collections...
i've had it.
GARBAGE COMPANY and GARBAGE OUTSOURCED CUSTOMER SERVICE... great way to help people in need, just keep adding on the STRESS

Verified Reviewer | Hancock, WisconsinI just found out that I have to pay 156.24 times three for equipment I received in March I use a Libre 2 lifestyle glucose machine and you sent me a Libre 3 I want to send it back.
I thought it would be cheaper but your price is 1562.36 vs. 60.00 from Walmart for 3 months.
I never got an invoice that itwould be a total of 468.72 I want to send back the unused boxes so someone else can use them I keep getting the run around. Please help me .I called care centrex again today and spoke with Jay in the Phillipines (really?) Can you please.

Feels like a scam...
Overall, it seems this company (who appear to be one of several under different names) enjoys putting bills on auto cycle with no end it sight. This company charges at and above retail prices for CPAP items that can be obtained for less on Amazon.
If you have the ability to use another company, I recommend it greatly!! In my opinion, this company is not using ethical operations as to how they bill customers, will not be using them again ever.

We have insurance through my husband's employment. Since the company headquarters is out of state, their Blue Cross/Sheild is based in that state.
However, Carecentrix always sends the bills to Florida Blue. They won't pay since we are actually members of Michigan Blue Cross. In addition, we have secondary insurance through Medicare. Again, Carecentrix refuses to bill Medicare even after we send letters and copies of my Medicare insurance cards.
When you call they are argumentative and full of excuses and lies. They have yet to respond to letters sent via certified mail.

Price is more than it should be
We have a high deductible. CareCentrix shipped these Gentle Glide intermittent catheters in January from 1-800 medical and then billed us for nearly $900!
That's about twice what the price should be.
Last year, we received 120 Gentle Glide catheters for $525. No one seems to be able to explain why they are costing more.
Warning! Warning! Have had only problems with so called billing dept. do they check the patient’s insurance coverage? If a person has co pay assistance for medication the screw ups get worse.
Having co-pay assistance for medication seems to be a problem for CareCentrix. It can take a year for them to get that billing straight.
It would help if a the billing depts could get the patients insurance info correct for billing purposes. Is as though CareCentrix is buying time, trying to frustrate the patient in hopes of getting more from the patient. If CareCentrix doesnt like the comments from patients then try improving in every way!!! Poor company, questionable billing practices, stand up to them do not allow them to take advantage.
If necessary go to the State, and seek legal advice. What does BlueCross think ??

They put on hold and never picked up the phone. I waited for an hour and no one picked up the phone to take my payment.
They sold my information within 15 minutes
The company has no phone number for customer service. I want to cancel my just started membership because they do not actually contact or schedule the help.
They charge 50 dollars a week for NOTHING! And they sold my information immediately.

Website was designed by a1 year child. Nightmare to pain bill on line and printing receipts never print out right so you don't have proof so they can screw you out of your money.
Put invoice number you want to pay and sent receipt to your email it doesn't have invoice number on it. Company just sucks so bad

I would be EXTREMELY careful using these guys. whatever your insurance doesnt cover the product is TRIPLE retail cost and they do not tell you the price.
Recent Federal complaints about this company are out there to read. You can go get Freestyle Libre Sensors for $75 per month from CVS without insurance.

SCAM!
I've been double charged on bills and now they want even more from me for the one CPAP machine i have?! They are seriously trying to charge me hundreds of dollars extra because the CPAP machine also acts as a humidifier so they want to charge me for a humidifier as well as the machine!! Im not paying anymore!

you can't get them on the phone. your doctor faxes orders to Florida Blue and they send them to these folks.
Carecentrix doesn't contact you, they don't process the order, they only take money from the govt.
When you finally get them on the phone, it is always the same answer; "we called you a few days ago". About the only thing you can do here is file complaints with the insurance company, file complaints with Medicare and then when open enrollment gets here, drop Florida Blue and go with an insurance company who cares about their customers.

doctor faxed order for medical equip to Florida Blue.
Florida Blue uses CareCentrix, so they get the order
CareCentrix does NOTHING with order
When you finally get someone who can talk at CareCentrix, and you ask for status, you will get the answer "we tried to call you last week".
Then they will push back on the order. You go to Medicare, you go to Florida Blue, you go to the doctor, all say CareCentrix is wrong.
My best suggestion?
If your insurance company uses this company to fulfill medicare orders, get another insurance company. I did.

OVER BILL!!!!
Keep on charging for the usage of the CPAP machine. Keep on charging about the supplies that never came to me.
These charges went up already to almost $700 plus the other payment that I did for the usage of NY CPAP. Then after verifying that I don't owe them anymore. A new company will call me and ask about a payment that I owe again from carecentrix.
This is a huge mistake to have this device and to deal with this company. customer service is very poor!!!

I'm reasonably sure No Surprises Act violations are a daily occurrence. This company fails to take any accountability with consumers.
I am filing a formal complaint to investigate willful negligence in the state of Florida.
These fools lied about pricing. In fact they refuse to give you a real firm quote for your cost, which is ridiculous. They worry that a vendor bills without them, but don't care that they wrongly bill members. We returned overpriced equipment with approval from Carecentrix and from the vendor yet we still recieve bills.
I called, Carecentrix doesn't care says I have to contact their vendor that they contact with and have their vendor contact Carecentrix. If we go into collections I will bring about litigation on our behalf as well as for any other impacted members with similar mishandling. This company deserves to be fully shut down. Total incompetence.
We bought the equipment from Amazon, took 2 days to get to us and our was cheaper, better quality and most importantly NO HEADACHE OF USING CARECENTRIX!! A total waste of a member benefit. I would rather receive a credit on my insurance for NEVER using Carecentrix. State and Federal investigation should take place for the massive fraud.
Example my friend's mother was dying with cancer, Carecentrix was so terrible that the family went out of pocket to buy supplies than to deal with these billionaire fools.
This is a juicy lawsuit just waiting to happen; actually they, Carecentrix, are begging someone to sue them. I hope one day to read about it.
