Care Centrix is our insurance (Cigna) biller assistance middle man. It's supposed to help Cigna and its clients to smooth out the process of billing of home health equipment provided by service provide Apria.

But instead it did the opposite. My insurance Cigna representative had to spend almost an hour to find the right person at Carecentrix to explain to them that Cigna was willing to pay for the claim (CPAP rental fee and purchase if needed) and stated so in our 3-way phone conversation (Cigna-CareCentrix-patient) but Carecentrix was still not willing to cooperate.

It even said Apria can not submit the claim directly to Cigna.

Why does Cigna and any health insurance company hire this company for billing assistance? It aggravates your customers and push them to stroke-out frustration.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.
